Steve Jobs who was considered as one of the most successful CEO of all times, is now no longer with us. On October 5, 2011, Apple inc. confirmed this news. Apple displayed the picture of Steve Jobs on their official web site as a memory.
According to Apple, it was stated that:
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today. Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.
His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.”
On the official page of Apple, along with the picture of Steve Jobs, a message was also displayed which is stated as below:
“Apple has lost visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve Jobs have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.

Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955. He died at the age of 55 on 5th October, 2011. He was a legend to say the least. He left his wife, two sisters and four children behind him. He also left behind himself the entire culture of the company. Along with that he also left behind around 49,000 employees of Apple. It’s a very sad day for technology and the whole world as a whole.
