BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has introduced new plans for senior citizens of Kerala inorder to increase market share. The plans introduced by BSNL for senior citizens are very lucrative for the consumers and it’s a desperate move by BSNL to gain market share.
Senior citizens are the people who have all the time in the world and they are so free that they would be happy chatting with their friends and family all day long. This is a smart move by BSNL to try to capture senior citizens of the country. They would talk and talk and this is what telecom companies want, so that their business grows.
In Kerala, BSNL would be giving out free 2G SIM cards to people who all show interest in adopting this unique plan from BSNL. The staring cost of the pack is Rs 60 (INR) where the user would get 200 free SMS and a free talk time of Rs 20 (INR). This all would be valid for first 30 days after activating the SIM. The call charges for the first month would be 1 paisa for 2 second (1p/2sec) on net and 1 paisa per second (1p/sec) for off-net users.
Your delight will not get over after the first month. After the completion of the first month, users of this plan would get 50 free SMS and the call charges of the plan would be as per pay per second plan. With this plan, it would be possible for users to call at the rate of 30 paisa per minute (30p/min) within Kerala from 17:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs. Though this call rate would only be possible on any BSNL number.
All the senior citizens of this plan would also be having option to opt for 5 Family and Friends (FnF) numbers wherein the user would be able to call at the rate of 20 paisa per minute (20p/min) if the call is made within Kerala circle to BSNL network. If the call is made to other network but within Kerala circle, the call rate would be 30 paisa per minute (30p/min). Along with this, the user will have the option to make call at the rate of 30 paisa per minute (30p/min) to one BSNL number outside the Kerala circle.
