Fly Mobiles has recently launched it’s first Android tablet in India. As the brand value perception, the price of this tablet by Fly is not so high, as Fly products are perceived to be not so costly in India.
The new tablet that is launched by Fly is priced at Rs 7299 (INR) (around US $165). It has great price for Indian customers. I would be interesting to see how this tablet aligns itself with other famous and cheap tablets like the “Aakash” tablet launched by the Indian Government for a price of about Rs 2000. It also has tough competitions from others like iBerry tablet, Beetel Magiq, Wespro ePad and C2K tablet.
Fly Mobiles also promised to launch 4 Andoid smartphones. It also promised to open up an app store. Not only this, Fly Mobiles was also actively seeking partnership with big names like Yahoo in order to make dumb existing phones much more smarter and intelligent.

We are not sure about the screen which would be ultimately be placed on the tablet. Will it be a capacitive screen or a resistive touch screen. Given the price of the table we think, it just might be a resistive touch screen, again we cannot be sue of this as of now.
But if the screen is resistive touch screen then you will have one more point to add it to your list of disadvantages above.
Let’s see what does Fly Mobiles comes out next with.
