There is a new development in the social video media war. Flixlab which is a recently launched iPhone app has now included features that will allow you to create new collaborative videos with friends and others you know.
Flexilab is a new and exciting app that allows you to indulge in a host lot of features in the world of digital media. You can create movies using photos and video or movie clips that are available on your phone’s library including those photos that are newly shot at Facebook or other albums. You can even tag your friends, add music from your favourite sources, add themes and transitions to make whatever media that you wish to create.
There is also a mode called “Events” – which is Flixlab’s collaborative mode. Using this mode in Flixlab you can create a video using both yours and your friend’s footage. This feature is really amazing. Say you are at a party or a wedding, you and your friends are taking pictures and videos at the party, then you are automatically sharing those media files via the app. All you need to do is just click the “Events” to unearth your friend’s videos and pictures and then you can simply add them to your own video or movie. This is something like shooting the same thing from multiple different angles.
This is one of the most striking features of Flixlab and easily differentiates it from other video sharing apps such as Blipsnips, Socialcam and Viddy. But in order to work well, you need more and more number of people to use the app which is not current situation right now since the app is actually very new. But we are hopeful that it would soon gain popularity as time passes.
