The new Mac OS X 10.6.8 has been released and it is now available. In fact, you can say that OS X 10.6.8 is a preparation for the Lion which Apple is planning to deliver through Mac App Store.
Apple released the dot 8 update, which is quite likely, the last update before OS X 10.7 better known as “Lion” which would be releasing next month.
Lion would be delivered as an add on to v 10.7 Snow Leopard and built into Lion. For all registered Mac, the Lion would be available for only US $29.99 which is a significant discount figure.
What OS X 10.6.8 will do to satisfy all the people who are out there giving the Final Cut Pro X scathing reviews at Mac App Store, we don’t know. But we do know that currently, there are 306 one star ratings out of 685.
You can get the latest v 10.6.8 from Software Update or you can directly download 1GB file from Apple.
