Microsoft released a Candidate version of Internet Exporer 9 on February 10, 2011. This Internet Explorer 9 was developed after taking feedback of around 17,000 pieces of user feedback.
Previously, Microsoft had released many beta versions of IE9 to finally come up with the final version. The browser fully supports HTML5 and has a minimalist design. It also has “tracking protection” feature that helps user information to be protected from third party sites. The IE9 can be downloaded from http://www.beautyoftheweb.com/
The IE9 is faster with the sites of the real world. It makes the script engine faster. It makes most of the website run faster because of the features like scenario tuning, network cache tuning, and new compiler optimizations. It supports Web standards like CSS3 2D Transforms, HTML5 Geolocation and a set of HTML5 semantic elements.
The table below shows the features enjoyed by new IE9 over other browsers.
IE9 has improved user experience site centric browsing features and there are high safety and privacy features which are tremendously improved than previous versions. These features enable trustworthy browsing experience from the user.
The real test of IE9 starts now. Would it be able to compete with available browsers like Google Crome that, only time will tell. Meanwhile you can go and test IE9 for yourself and share your experiences.
