MTNL – Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited has recently announced that it will close 14 existing landline plans.
The discontinuation of plans as announced by BSNL would happen from November 16, 2011. The plans which are being shut down by BSNL are listed below.

- Plan – 350
- Plan – 500
- Plan – 499
- Plan – 999
- Plan – 699 A
- Plan – 699 B
- Plan – 799 A
- Plan – 799 B
- Plan – 750
- Plan – 1000
- Plan – 1500
- Plan – 2000
Along with the above listed plans, it is to be noted that Plan – 699 would be made available those who are DID Franchisees only.
Along with the closure of the plan, BSNL also announced that it would introduce new 14 plans to replace the old existing plans for BSNL landline users.
