Pantone 5 107SH is the world’s first smartphone to have an inbuilt radiation detector. The company behind this smartphone is Softbank, and this is the first smartphone that has been launched by the company.
The Pantone 5 107SH has a built in Geiger counter. As far as the accuracy goes, the smartphone has the capability to detect radiations under the levels of 20% accuracy. The people of Japan are much concerned about the radiation levels coming from a device especially after the Fukushima disaster. This is why, the company from Japan – Softbank has launched a unique smartphone to detect the levels of radiation.
The smartphone from Softbank has the latest version of Android in it. It has Android 4.0 preinstalled in it. It has a 4 megapixel camera and a 3.7 inch LCD screen.
This is not the first time that a device having Geiger counter has come up. But the ease of use which people have using this mobile is comparable to none other. You just need to press the button below the screen to turn on the radiation sensor. When the radiation sensor turns on, it detects its surroundings and gives the concerned radiation details.
As of now, the Pantone 5 107SH is expected to be released by end of July this year. It would be a great device to know the amount of radiation levels.
