Samsung has revealed its new N100 netbook today with the specialty that unlike others it runs on Intel’s MeeGo operating system. It uses an Intel Atom N435 dual core processor with a speed of 1.33GHz.
This new netbook packs 1GB of DDR3 Ram and 250GB of hard-disk space. The screen is 10.1 inches big just like the new Galaxy Tab and has resolution of 1024×600. It’s a light device with weight of around 1.03 kg and its battery is a 3 cell one. The Intel GMA 3150 solution takes care of the graphics of the computer.
Samsung claims that the keyboard on this new netbook is designed to support faster typing. The new operating system MeeGo will also help in saving energy and improving performance. The OS is made for easy online and offline use.
But, Samsung is smartly also offering free DOS and Windows 7 as an option for buyers of N100 which will have a price point of around Rs.12,290.
