The “New iPad” which was unofficially called as iPad 3 is all set to arrive in India on April 27th, 2012. The new iPad would be launching in countries – Cyprus, Malasia, Brunei, Panama, Croatia, Venezuela, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, St Maarten, Guatemala and Uruguay on April 20, 2012. While it is all set to be launched on April 27th, 2012 in the countries listed – Montenegro, Latvia, Israel, South Africa, India, Colombia, Lithuania, Thiland and Estonia.
The basic model of iPad – 16 Gb Wi-Fi only model would cost around Rs 30,500 in India. The Wi-Fi plus 4G model is all set for a price of Rs 38,900. All those people who are in a fix whether or not to buy the 4G variant of the “new iPad”, our suggestion is to not to go for it. We have learned from Apple that the iPad 4G device is designed in such a way so as to work effectively in the spectrums available in USA. It would not work properly in other countries such as India. So, those of you, who are thinking that India is a 4G ready country, think again.
There is also good news regarding the Apple iPad 2. With the introduction of the new iPad, the price of iPad 2 has reduced in India. iPad 2 is now available in India at a starting price of Rs 24,500. So, all the fans of Apple, who do not want better processor, better display and 4G that is provided by the new iPad, our suggestion is to go for iPad 2. You can still enjoy most of the things that is done by new iPad with the iPad 2 itself.
