Just few days before the big event, Samsung has announced a trio of smartphones which are powered by Bada 2.0. The big event which is IFA trade show is to be held between September 2, 2011 to September 7, 2011.
Before announcing these three smartphones, Samsung had already announced LTE versions of Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 8.9. The three smartphones announced this time by Samsung are Wave 3, Wave M and Wave Y.
All the above three handsets are powered by Bada 2.0. Among all the three smartphones, the most powerful device is Wave 3. Wave 3 has a 9.9 mm metal case. It is powered by 1.4 Ghz CPU and has 3 GB of memory. It has a cool 4-inch VGA Super AMOLED Screen along with a 5 megapixel camera. The new Samsung Wave 3 also has an inbuilt 32 GB microSD slot.
Samsung Wave M is also a smartphone which comes along with a metallic body. It’s a nice smartphone but it’s not so great a phone when you compare it to Wave 3. Samsung Wave M is powered by 832 Mhz CPU and has a 150 MB of space in storage memory. It has a 3.65-inch HVGA screen and also has an inbuilt 32 GB microSD slot.
Samsung Wave Y is the entry level phone among the all the three phones. It has 2 megapixel camera and has a 3.2-inch HVGA screen. The Samsung Wave Y is powered by a 832 Mhz CPU.
The thing which is common to all the thee mentioned smartphone is that, all of them support the new free messaging service by Samsung which is ChatON. At this point of time, there is no information about the price and availability of the phone but one thing that is for sure is that, all these three phones would be on display at Samsung’s stand at IFA in Berlin to be held between 2 to 7 September, 2011.
