India’s mobile market has become more than predictable now. Each and every major company that manufactures mobile has ventured into the tablet market.
Videocon is one of the newest companies to enter into this zone right now. It is planning to enter into the tablet market with 7 inch tablet that is powered by Android 2.3.
This month of June, 2011 has already witnessed the tablet launches of the Blackberry Playbook, Huawei’s Tablet, Motorola Xoom and HTC Flyer. Videocon has arrived as a welcome addition to the above list.
What is special about the Videocon’s new tablets
Videocon’s tablet would run on the latest operating system available i.e., Android 2.3 – this is something that other tablets do not offer. It is launching a 7 inch tablet. According to Videocon, it has done widespread survey and research and found out that 7 inch tablet is the most acceptable size in India for tablets.
Other specifications, pricing and launch date are not yet revealed by Videocon as of now. But one thing is for sure that, it is the end consumer that gets hugely benefitted by all this rat race for launching tablets in the market.
We would not be surprised if within next few days, we see, Micromax coming up with a new tablet of their own.
