RCom website does not include features such as GPS and FM radio as functionality of this phone but the Chinese websites that have listed this phone show that the phone has GPS as well as FM feature.

Coolpad D530 has joined the same league of phones as other Android CDMA phones such as Samsung Galaxy i500, Samsung Galaxy Pop, Samsumg Galaxy 1899 and Motorola Milestone XT800.

Coolpad D530 is actually a Chinese phone which has been custom made for China Telecom. There has been agreement of some sort between Reliance and these Chinese companies to bring this phone to India. The name as it is called, “Coolpad” may or may not be changed by Reliance when it is finally brought to India. Coolpad could be changed because this phone is neither so cool nor it has a pad. But the name is definitely heads on as it can be easily confused with it being a tablet.

What do you think about this phone, will it help Reliance capture the market of smartphones in India?
