Android Operating System version 3.0 better known as Honeycomb 3.0 has now been upgraded to Android Operating System version 3.1 better known as Honeycomb 3.1. This has been revealed by Google I/O today.
The newer version of the operating system has some enhanced functions and some improved and new applications. The Honeycomb 3.1 has some new, stretchy widgets and a support for USB peripherals such as joysticks, cameras etc. In the launch ceremony, the speakers from Google just kept on talking about the Ice Cream Sandwich Android Operating System from Google but it was no where mentioned or told that Honeycomb 3.1 is codenamed as Ice Cream Sandwich.
