There is very good news for all the Apple Mac lovers out there. Apple has decided to lower the prices for Macs in India.
Apple after the launch of iPad 2 in India, has very quietly dropped the prices of their Mac desktops and the Mac Mini. The prices that are now reduced are almost 15% lesser than their previous old prices. There is also an upgradation of the iMac available with the reduction in price. The iMac range is now equipped with Quad – Core Intel Core i5 processors which are much stronger than the previous old processors.
Apple has decided not to change the price of Macbook range of notebooks. The Macbook range is unaffected by any price change. There is a significant price change in the prices of Mac Mini and iMac models from Apple. The table below shows the comparison between the old price and the new price of desktop models from Apple.

Apple recently launched the iPad 2 in India. It was introduced in India within a few weeks after being launched in countries like the US. There is also a strong feeling in the market that, iPhone 4 may arrive India by this month.
There is also a news that, Apple would be sending iPhone 4 in India with “factory unlocked” configuration. It means that, the iPhone 4 could work with any cellular operator in India, once it’s SIM card is inserted into the iPhone 4, and not just that of Airtel or Vodaphone.
