Dell has announced the launch of Inspiron 14Z and Inspiron R laptops in India. These laptops are armed with the third generation Ivy Bridge processors from Intel.
The Inspiron R series laptops are available in the 14 inch and 15 inch models. The Inspiron R Special Edition models are available in 14 inch, 15 inch and 17 inches. The Inspiron 14Z series model is on similar lines with the earlier Dell XPS 14Z model.
The Inspiron 14R and 15R are equipped with Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors. They are also loaded with the Intel’s HD 4000 graphics along with Waves MaxxAudio 3 technology. The Dell Inspiron R series of laptops are available from a price starting from Rs 39,990.
The Dell Inspiron R Series Edition models are slightly higher end in terms of features like a dedicated AMD and Nvidia graphics card along with Intel Ivy Bridge CPUs. These CPUs include Waves MaxxAudio technology and discrete graphics. The laptop also features candy speakers. These laptops have backlit keyboards and have full USB 3.0 connectivity. The users are given full choice of customization that is unique feature with all Dell laptops across the world. The price range for Inspiron R Special Edition starts from a price of Rs 49,990.
Dell also featured the Inspiron 14Z series which is an UltraBook by the company. This is the second UltraBook launched by Dell after the launch of XPS 13. The Inspiron 14Z has the great combination of portability, power and a very good battery life. This laptop is 21mm in thickness at the thickest point and weighs only 1.87 Kg. It has a battery life that lasts up to 7 hours. These UltraBook from Dell also has Inel Ivy Bridge processors, Intel Start Technology and Skull Candy speakers. The price for Dell Inspiron 14Z has not been announced officially as of now, but it would soon be announced at the Dell’s website.
