Google Re-engineers Its iPhone App

Google has revamped its iPhone App and has completely re-designed it’s interface. It has released a new update to it’s iPhone app. This update has new design, new features and even a new name.

It’s a completely major improvement over it’s previous versions. Google Search for iPhone which was previously called Google Mobile has new interface for the users. It has changed it’s interface to facilitate the users searching the web and accessing apps. The interface is now aligned with the normal regular Google.com interface. The mobile Google search app also has the facility for users to conduct searches via photo through Google Googles. The app also includes feature such as quick access to Voice Search.

The app also has some cool and interesting features. One feature that is very useful and particularly liked by us is the feature that allow the users to pick up where they left off. In the middle of searching if you get busy on phone calls then what you can do is simply tap the lower half of the page and you can simply return to the page you were visiting before.

The new app also has a new search toolbar. The new toolbar can be accessed by swiping from left to right. This toolbar is very identical to the left hand column that is generally present on Google Search result page. Users who regularly use Google.com will be able to recognize this page very quickly and immediately. Users can now search from various topics such as video, shopping, blog, image, news, social, discussion, place and social through this new search toolbar. This toolbar has enhanced the efficiency and productivity of the Google iPhone app tremondously. The app also has hotlist of Google Mobile web apps such as Gmail and Google Earth.

Putting the whole story in short, the new app is faster, has more and dratically improved features and can go a long way in increasing the productivity of users. It is a long step ahead of it’s previous versions. Lets see how it is perceived in the market.
