There is good news for all the bike lovers. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is all set to launch a new sports bike into the Indian market. It will be launching the all new CBR 150R into the market next month.
With the launch of CBR 150R, there would be bit of worry for Bajaj Auto. Honda’s CBR 150R would be competing directly against KTM Duke 200 from Bajaj. The pricing structure for both the motorcycles is also almost the same. The price for CBR 150R is about Rs 115,000 while the price of KTM Duke 200 is about Rs 117,000.
KTM Duke 200 is a Austrian brand street bike which was launched by Bajaj during the last month. It would be interesting to see how both the bikes compete against each other in the market place.
The CBR 150R is third new offering from Honda during this year. It shows the aggressive stance taken by Honda to launch more and more vehicles into the market. The CBR 150R is driven by a powerful 150cc engine. In looks, the bike looks like a lot like the downgraded version of CBR 250R. The bike looks stunning and is ideal for youth who wants to enjoy the ride on a decent bike.
In terms of sales, the company is in all hopes and expectations to sell more than 3,500 units of CBR 150R in a months time after the official launch of the bike.
