Spice had announced its new Android tablet, MiTab or Mi720 a few days back. The tablet is now officially launched in the market and is the latest Android tablet choice for Indian customers. It has been priced at Rs. 11,990. Reliance had launched its 3G tablet in the same range and the two are now in direct competition in case of both price and specifications.
Spice MiTab – Specifications
Spice Mi720 includes 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Turbo processor, 512 MB RAM, 4GB bundled storage that is expandable upto 32 GB. The tablet comes with a 7 inch WVGA TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 800×480. It has a 2 megapixel camera at the back and a VGA camera in the front. The new Spice Tab is 3G enabled. It also has WiFi and works as a WiFi hotspot. It has Bluetooth and GPS too.
The tablet doesn’t have an FM radio. It is powered with Android 2.2, which is its only drawback when compared with Reliance 3G Tab.
Strong battery
Spice MiTab has a strong 4200 mAh battery, which is the best battery seen in the latest tablets so far. iBall Slide has a 4400 mAh battery which is slightly better than MiTab.
Perfect Price
Spice , known as S mobility now has come up with a perfect price for its MiTab, which is exactly a Rs. 1000 less than the price of Reliance 3G Tab. The Reliance Tab comes at a price of Rs. 12,999 with its own bundled data plans that works only with Reliance network. Spice MiTab has no such issues since it can work with any 3G network.
The Spice MiTab is priced at Rs 11,999 (INR).
Spice MiTab can be rated as a better Tab in terms of price and carrier. It won’t be a surprise if Reliance 3G Tab has a price drop.
