There is a mad rush in the field of tablets now a days. Looks like Toshiba doesn’t want to stay back in the race. Toshiba has unveiled a new tablet – AT300 on Thursday, May 24, 2012.
The Toshiba AT300 runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. This tablet is powered by a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz. It has a 1 GB RAM which is a DDR3L RAM. The Toshiba AT300 has LED screen of 10.1 inch with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. The device from Toshiba would be available in two storage capacity options. One with a storage capacity of 16 GB while the other with a storage capacity of 32 GB.
This tablet from Toshiba is having a rear camera of 5 megapixel and a front facing camera of 2 megapixel. Both the cameras in the device are flash enabled and bring out a good quality picture. The AT300 tablet has SD card slot to enable users to maximize their storage capacity. The tablet also has a microHDMI and microUSB port. The device has stereo speakers.
Toshiba plans to start shipping this tablet starting from June end 2012. The price for Toshiba AT300 16 GB model is £329 while the price for Toshiba AT300 32 GB model is £379.
