Amazon Kindle is now having a new business model to earn revenue in its pocket. Apart from earning by selling products such as Amazon Kindle, it would now be earning from the ads and local deals that would be appearing on screen savers of Amazon Kindle of local Amazon products or otherwise.
Some of the Amazon Kindle users will now soon see deal offers daily when they get a glance of their Kindle. This is a new way in which customers would be able to purchase deals without actually visiting the Amazon Local site or opening its daily emails.
Amazon is offering “special offer” through which customers can opt for a discount for US $25 in exchange for receiving sponsored screensavers from Amazon. Only the customers who opt for such “Special Offer” would receive such daily deals offer in their Kindle.
The purchased vouchers that would appear on Kindle screen, could be shown to the merchant at the time of purchase by directly showing the voucher on Kindle screen or by getting a print out of the same.
The exact launch date of such a scheme from Amazon is not yet known. What the company has said is that such a scheme would be launched “soon”, they did not provide any exact time for the event.
