Facebook admins can now unmerge their business’ Facebook Page with the Facebook Place Page. This feature was absent until recently, due to heavy demand it has been made available by Facebook.
Some Facebook admins first found this out and later it was reported by Inside Facebook. It now gives an option saying “unmerge all merged places” at the left page admin menu. This feature has still not reached many admins but will be soon explored by them.
This option of merging was first offered in August so that admins who have their own businesses could have a single Facebook Page and Places Page. But many didn’t like it since it devoid them of many important features.
Although its common sense that this feature was required long back, admins are happy that they finally have it and now they can have their own business Page.
