Google Chromebook which was introduced by Samsung and which went for a sale in June has dropped the prices. The drop in prices for Samsung Google Chromebook is as much as 10%. This cut in price has been made in a very short span of time.
The new selling price for Wi-Fi only Series 5 Chromebook is US $399.99. The old selling price for the same was US $429.99. If we look at the other model like the 3G + Wi-Fi Chromebook, the new selling price has been set at US $449.99 which was originally priced 10% higher.
There are many other Chromebooks like the Acer Chromebook which have not changed their prices. In these circumstances, it seems that Samsung is ready for a price war with the other companies. One more point to be noted is that why would anybody prefer these chromebooks when netbooks are available at the same price range which are much more powerful and handy.
