There is some good news for Indian Video game lovers out there. Sony has announced a drop of 15% in price for PS3 in India.
This move to drop prices of PS3 in India came after price cut which was made internationally by Sony. The Sony PS3 320 GB Move bundle, is now available in India for a price of Rs 20,000 (INR) which was previously available for a price of Rs 23,500. Similarly, the price of Sony 160 GB PS3 has been slashed down to Rs 17,000 (INR) which was previously available for a price of Rs 20,000 (INR).
The above move was made by Sony in order to combat competition in the space of Video games worldwide. In India, the above slash in price would be applicable from September, 2011 onwards. So, if you are planning to buy one of these cool gadgets, just wait for another few days till September to save few bucks. But if you are really desperate then nobody can stop you.
