Kenya’s Law Enforcement Body’s Website Hacked

The website of Kenya’s law enforcement body, kenyapolice.go.ke, has apparently been defaced by a hacker. The news was reported by Larry Madowo, a Nairobi, Kenya based business reporter.

From the marred website it clearly appears that the act was done by the hacker in tribute to Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.

The welcome statement on the website at present reads:

“Got in and all i could think about was zuckerberg!!! This’ for you Mark!”

The website at present reads, “OK. Its not that big a deal! :P”. Besides the welcome note, the rest of the website seems to be functioning alright.

The title tag for the page has also been altered. It now reads:

“I’m CEO, B**ch!’

The statement can be related with the business cards that were handed out by Mark Zuckerberg at meetings which read, “I’m CEO…B**ch.” (From the book – The Facebook Effect: the Inside Story of the Company That Is Connecting the World by David Kirkpatrick)

Wonder if the hacker is trying to set a new trend of website defacement for the new year, 2011!
