Airtel which is one of the biggest telecom companies in India has struck a deal with Opera Software. Opera is one of the biggest creators of mobile browser.
According to the deal, Opera would offer Opera Mini internet browser to all the customers of Airtel mobile. Airtel customers are widespread across India, Africa and South Asia. All the Airtel customers would be able to take advantage of Opera Mini. Opera Mini helps in reducing the overall data usage of customers as it transfers data by compressing data up to 90% so the total bandwidth of data used reduces. It uses a special proxy server based technology to compress the data.
Its only few days since Opera Mini 7 – Browser For Feature Phones Released.
The new Opera Mini has been designed for fast and easy usage. The browsing speed through any mobile phone is increased tremendously by using Opera Mini browser. It has been proved that using this browser, the speed of browsing increases by 9 times as using any of the client-only mobile browsers on both 3G as well as 2G or 2.5G networks. Opera Mini provides a consistent using experience for the users and is one of the best browsers for mobile phones.
